This file is the game board. It will randomly select an answer for multiplication facts from 0-max, default 12. You can change the default by tapping on the buttons on the top left hand corner. The options are 10, 11, and 12. The “i” on the top right is the same information as this.
Once the board is setup, you can tap on the “QR” button on the lower right hand corner to display a QR code for students to access on their device. If you change the max during the game students have to scan a new QR code to access the correct game cards. Every student will get a unique game card.
To start, tap on “draw” to randomly select a number. The number will turn green to indicate the current number. When you draw another number, the previous number will turn red and dim a bit. Students will then look at their game card and tap on the expression that is equivalent to the selected number. If they make a mistake, they can tap the rectangle again to “deselect” it. They can tap card to generate a new card and reset to clear the card to start a new game.
Their problems will conincide with the maximium number selected on the teacher board. If the teacher selects 11 their expressions will contain expressions for facts from 0-11.
If you have students that don’t have a device, you can download and print this file for paper game cards for students. There are 40 game cards.
