In this game, students will move a caterpillar around the screen to “eat” veggies, numbers, or words.  You can change game modes upon completion of the game. There is a counter on the top right hand corner of the screen. It tracks how many veggies, words, or numbers a student’s caterpillar has eaten. The game ends when someone eats 10. To the left of the score is an emoji matching the emoji of the caterpillar students move around.  The colors of behind the score also match the color of the caterpillars. The emoji and color will change after every game.

In the veggie mode, students move around to eat veggies.

In the number mode, students will either get a numerial expression at the top of the screen or a number. Students will then move their caterpillar to match the corresponding answer if given an expression or expression if given a number. The game will recognize if multiple right answers.

In word mode, students will move around and eat the words that match the one displayed at the top of the screen.  The words used are First Grade Dolch and Fry Lists.

Everytime students eat a correct word, veggie, or number their caterpillar will grow by one circle, if they get an answer incorrect they will lose one circle.  There is also a confetti and sound if they are correct and sound and mark if they are incorrect.

At the end, they will get a scratcher. The game can be played again or mode changed during this time, before tapping replay.  The game will be different every time.
